Mumbai, Sep 29: It was heard before that Shruti Hassan will be the item girl for a special number in the upcoming film "Naayak" which stars Ram Charan Teja, Kajal Aggarwal and also Amala Paul. However in a recent interview, Shruti has negated all such reports. She expressed that she not keen to do item numbers.
She is presently busy as she is shooting for the remake of the film "Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana" in Hindi. The film also stars the newcomer Girish Taurani and is going to be directed by Prabhu Deva. The film also features Sonu Sood and veteran actors like Vinod Khanna and Randhir Kapoor. Shruti has established a firm position in both Tamil and Telegu industries with hit films like "3" in Tamil and "Gabbar Singh" in Telegu.
However, the young actress will have to prove her worth to Bollywood this time. Her Bollywood debut "Luck" in 2009 failed to garner positive responses. But the actress did not give up, she is constantly working on her performance and today she is already a popular name in Tollywood. The actress is also a talented singer, and her melodious voice is one of her major attractions. With time, we are sure, Shurti will carve a place of herself in Bollywood.
