Mumbai, Sep 29: Recently Shriya Saran had to take the help of her daddy dear to get out of helpless state. Her car's tyre was punctured, the car was driven over a pothole, and then she got stranded in traffic. Shriya had to undergo a lot of mental pressure and embarrassed too, as some of her old buddies were coming to Mumbai from abroad to meet her at that time. However, Shriya's papa rescued his beti, and a cab helped them out to reach the destination quickly and safely. Shriya could not thank her papa and cab-man enough to save her day from getting worse.

Shriya's film "Chandra" which is a bi-lingual film to be released both in Tamil and Kannada is still on floors. While next year we will see her in a Hindi flick opposite Bollywood actor Jimmy Shergill. Shriya also has a Telegu movie in her kitty titled "Ravana Brahma Apsara".

This actress has successfully survived in the film industry despite having no god-fathers. Shriya also appeared in the English movie "The Other End of the Line" in 2008. She is a well-known face in Bollywood too, thanks to "Awarapan" which released in 2007. She debuted in 2001 with the movie "Ishtam" which is a Telugu movie.
