Hyderabad, Sep 25: Creative director Sekhar Kammula who shot to fame with films like 'Happy Days' and 'Leader' started saying 'Life is Beautiful' with all new comers. He even had the company of yesteryear stars Amala Akkineni, Anjala Jhaveri and Shriya Sharan. The film which hit the screens last week however got mixed response from film critics and movie lovers alike.

The film which is a carbon copy of 'Happy Days' except for the change of center stage from College to Colony suffered from the drag to fill in the length of the film. As such according to information some distributors met Kammula and requested to cut short some of the unwanted scenes. Sekhar also heeded to their request after watching the mixed reviews which bought down all hopes of another run away hit.

The film makers decided to cut short the film by 15 minutes from 169 minutes current duration. Scenes that are done away with include killing of the tree, hero seeking heroine's hand from her parents and Rich Rakesh realising his mistake. Already changes are in effect from Saturday and the same could be noticed from today in physical prints.

Produced and directed by Sekhar Kammula under Amigos Creations, the clean-entertainer Life is Beautiful casts 6 new faces for lead roles. Mickey J Meyer has composed once gain extraordinary tunes after Leader for this Kammula movie.
