Mumbai, Sep 19: Salman Khan who rattled all existing Bollywood records as RAW agent in 'Ek Tha Tiger' will now be seen joining Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and encouraging youngsters to join the organization as a role model. According to sources 46-year-old Salman Khan will flag off the half-marathon called ITBP Run for the Nation on October 7 from the Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium in New Delhi and will be running few miles with ITBP troopers appealing youth to join the security forces.
Other Bollywood celebrities will join Salman for the half marathon.Buzz is even Olympic medal bronze medal winner Yogeshwar Dutt will also join the half marathon.
Salman recently shot a special film for ITBP as part of the golden jubilee celebrations. ITBP has undertaken an Everest expedition and a river rafting voyage in the Ganges earlier this year as part of the golden jubilee celebrations. Salman flew down from Mumbai on Tuesday to shoot his appeal for a marathon 'Run for the nation', being organised by the border guarding force on October 7 in the national capital.The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is celebrating its golden jubilee year of raising this year.
