Mumbai, Sep 3: Ravishing babe Raveena Tandon is all set to thrill her fans and movie lovers once again in her upcoming film in "Shobhana 7 Nights" directed by Sudipto Chattopadhay, who directed the controversial film PANKH.Raveena in fact sizzled opposite Big B in "Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap.
In the Sudipto Chattopadhay directed film, the 37-year-old actress plays a socialite columnist and author named Shobhana, who gets into an intense relationship with a struggling actor in Bollywood played by charming new comer Amit Purohit, who turns to prostitution, to survive his journey into Bollywood.
Sudipto revealing Raveena's character says, "Raveena's character 'Shobhana 7 nights' bears a close resemblance to some of the high society authors and columnist in Mumbai and is bold and sensual, sure to raise eyebrows! When I narrated to Raveena about the Toy boys and struggling male escorts in Bollywood, she did not believe me that it really happened. Though she was curious and so we decided to go to this particular coffee shop. Raveena who wore a burkha, was stunned by everything that was playing out in front of her."
Sudipto elaborating further says, "We even walked by closer so that we could hear the conversation and realised that they were negotiating the money and the hotel room. In fact Raveena being the professional she is, picked up the nuances and used it in the film. No doubt she is the winner of the National award, and I am confident that it is a never seen Raveena in 'Shobhana 7 nights'. She will win a 2nd National award for this film for sure."
Raveena Tandon made a name for herself by playing the female lead in a number of hit Bollywood masala flicks. She is best remembered for the song Cheez badi hai mast mast from the film Mohra and the no brainer comedies with Govinda in the 1990s.
