Mumbai, Sep 22: It may come as surprise but the news is true. Kareena herself revealed tahat she made her sister Karishma cry. The incident happened at the promo event of her upcoming film 'Heroine' directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Kareena who is playing the role of a fading Bollywood superstar Mahi Arora says that her sister Karisma Kapoor is her biggest critics. Kareena revealed that Karisma cried for ten minutes after watching her performance in Heroine.
Speaking to media at the film's promo event, Kareena said, "My sister (Karisma Kapoor) has already seen the film. She is my biggest critic, and she couldn't stop crying for ten minutes after watching the film. For me, that was the most special moment of my life. Her reaction to 'Heroine' was a huge achievement for me; and the rest of it lies on all of you, on the audience, and God."
On the similarities between her role in the film and that of fading star Mahi Arora in real life, she said, "I'm not like that at all. I'm pretty balanced, very calm and composed in real life and publicly. In the film, Mahi has been instigated by the media, and is going through a difficult phase of her life. When you see the film, you'd understand and sympathise with her."
With Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda in principal roles along with Divya Dutta, Shahana Goswami and Ranvir Shorey, "Heroine" releases all over on September 21.
