Mumbai, Sep 19: Race for Oscar awards 2013 already started with Film Federation of India, the organization entrusted with the selection of Indian film to be sent for Oscars, announced its preliminary list of films, from which the final one will be picked. The federation announced 12 films from all languages across India, out of which 7 are from Bollywood alone. The Bollywood flicks include Barfi, Dirty Picture, Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Gangs of Wasseypur, Heroine, Kaahani and Paan Singh Tomar .

Two kollywood films 7aam Arivu and VazhaKu En 18/9 entered the list along with a Marathi film Deol. Bringing cheer to Tollywood fraternity Rajamouli's graphical wonder 'Eega' made its way into the final list. All the films will be screened in Hyderabad from 18th-26th of this month following which eminent panel will arrive at the final decision after viewing and analyzing the films. It has to be seen which film will make the final cut.

There will be tough competition between top Bollywood flicks Barfi, Dirty Picture, Heroine and Kahaani and other films may turn out to be the dark horses. All these films will face enormous challenge from Rajamouli' s graphic creation 'Eega' which made good profits in overseas competing against the likes of Jr Bachchan starrer 'Bol Bachchan'.
