Mumbai, Sep 10: The Southern sensation Ileana D'Cruz had lost the chance of working with Dabangg Salman Khan previously. She was offered to play the female lead role opposite Salman Khan in the Tamil remake of the blockbuster "Wanted" but eventually it landed up having Vijay and Asin Thottumkal in the lead role. The hindi version of the film was also offered to Ileana but she had to reject the offer as she felt she was not ready for her debut movie in Hindi. Finally Ayesha Takia grabbed the role.

However she did the Telegu version of the same movie named "Pokiri" and it did a great business. Right now Ileana is all over the news as she will be debuting opposite Ranbir Kapoor in "Barfi!" She says, she had to reject the opportunity to do the film opposite Sallu miya as she did not want to do films in a half-hearted way, as she was not prepared for a debut in Bollywood then.

She really wanted to be a part of the film, but somehow did not affirm for the role offered. She added that it will be of an immense pleasure to her if she gets a chance to work with Sallu in the near future.
