Chennai, Sep 19: Hansika Motwani is really happy this days, as her kitty is full of many films. Latest news is that, she has signed for the remake of the hit movie "Ishq" in Tamil language by Jaya Pradha. Jayapradha will be launching her nephew Siddharth in the male lead role of the film. Hansika will be doing the female lead in the film. In the original film, Nithya Menon did the role, which will be played by Hansika in the remake.

Rajasekhar is going to direct the movie. Hansika said in an interview that she has watched the original version of the film so that she gets an idea of the role of her's in the film. The original was a hit, and Hansika found her role to be interesting that's why she did not hesitate to sign for the film. Jaya Pradha will be producing the film on a great scale. She will be working on "Singam 2" of Suriya soon, and will join the cast in the first week of October.

In 2007 she debuted with the Telegu movie "Desamuduru". In the same year, she also debuted in Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya's movie "Aap Ka Surroor". She has established herself as a sought-after actress of the Tamil and Telegu films by appearing in big budget movies like "Kantri", "Billa", "Velayudham", "Oru Kal Oru Kannadi".
