Mumbai, Aug 27: Property of Indian film's first ever superstar Rajesh Khanna, has been in limelight ever since his death. His abode in Bandra, 'Aashirwad' has now been renamed to 'Vardan Aashirwad'. There were reports that the house would be converted into a museum.

A source close to the deceased actor said the name change is in accordance to Rajesh Khanna's last wish. Khanna's estranged wife Dimple Kapadia said, "Yes...the name of the bungalow has been changed. But I cannot reveal the reason behind it. It is personal." Some say the name change might be due to some vaasthu issues but no one is willing to throw some light on the matter.

Interestingly, when Khanna bought this bungalow from actor Rajendra Kumar, it was called 'Dimple', as it was the name of Kumar's daughter. Though Khanna decided to continue with the same name, it was later changed to 'Aashirwad'. Rajesh Khanna , fondly called Kaka, died last month in the presence of hisrelatives and family friends at the age of 69.The bungalow is also likely to be turned into a museum in keeping with Khanna's wishes. Once the house is converted to museum, one can expect many of his fans throng to experience and feel his presence in the house.
