Mumbai, Aug 4: Successful choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva after his hit 'Rowdy Rathore' decided to move ahead with his next project. The film is titled 'Namak' and according to sources Shahid Kapoor and Katrina will be seen romancing red hot in the film. The film revolves around drug trade in Madhya Pradesh and involves Shahid bringing an end to those activities with his superlative action.

According to insiders, If all goes well, Katrina Kaif, who is ready and excited to star in Prabhu Deva's next Namak, will apparently enact the romantic lead opposite Shahid Kapoor. Sasha and Katrina will be featuring for the very first time ever in their career. As both are young and good-looking, audience will surely love to watch this couple on-screen.

Shahid and Katrina twice or thrice got close to romance on silver screen but somehow at the last moment it did not materialise. In 2007, Rajkumar Santoshi wanted to cast both of them in lead roles in the movie he was planning to direct. For a second time, Imtiaz Ali's wife Preeti wanted to cast them in the remake of the Korean film 'My Girlfriend Is An Agent' to which she was going to produce.

Prabhu Deva is currently working on finalising the script of the film. In all probability, it will kick off only next year, after he finishes Kumar Taurani’s next that will feature the producer’s son, Girish Taurani, and actor Shruti Haasan.
