Mumbai, Jul 26: Since Sajid Khan announced he would be remaking the film “Himmatwala” media people got busy specualting who would play the female lead as Sridevi played the lead role in the original. Names of Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma came forward for the role.However Sajid has chosen his female lead for the remake of “Himmatwala” and its none other than Southern siren Tamannaah Bhatia. Bhatia’s film “Rachcha” is famous for her sensuous rain dance, while in “Siruthai” her sensuous moves amazed all. She is known for bearing resemblance with Sridevi, and she boasts of being an Indian beauty having heavy chest, flat abdomen and broad lower region.

So Tamannaah will be seen opposite Ajay Devgn in the film. Ajay’s business associate Kumar Mangat, has affirmed the news adding that shooting will start from August and Ajay is only doing this film for 2012, as “Bol Bachchan” has already released and “Son of Sardar” is to be released soon.

Tamannaah has done several Tamil and Telegu flicks though she debuted in Bollywood back in 2005 with “Chand Sa Roshan Chehra” which bombed at the box office. She has several hit films in her kitty like “Ayan”, “Paiyaa”, “100 % Love” to name a few which helped her to become the leading lady in the Telugu film industry.
