Goa, Jul 17: Bollywood beauty Rani Mukherjee is renowned for her temper and volatile actions on shooting spots and sets but sources say she has a heart of gold. Much has been written about her shouting at the top of her voice in the sets of Aiyya. Now insiders reveal that all her shouting and temper is not directed at the unit members or her co stars but it was show of concern for a stray dog which was harassed by a few onlookers at the shooting spot.
A source who was witness to the incident says, "Rani walked up to the people who were harassing the dog and scolded them in front of the entire unit. When she saw the animal in trouble, she ran to its rescue."
Not many know that the actress is a firm advocate of animal relief and rescue in the city. It'd be nice if fellow colleagues could follow suit and take up similar causes.Co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and Viacom 18, Aiyya has been directed by Sachin Kundalkar.. Aiyya is said to be about a woman who finds a man desirable because he smells good and Rani, last seen in No One Killed Jessica, has teamed up with southern actor Prithvi Raj for the movie.
