New Delhi, Jul 30: Kareena who got the golden opportunity after Aishwarya walked out of Madhur Bhandarkar's prestigious project 'Heroine' is now the cynosure of all eyes. She says the film is a game changer and without the film her journey would have remained incomplete. She said, "My journey wouldn’t have been complete without Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine," In 'Heroine', Kareena portrays the role of Mahi Arora, who is a famous movie star in the Hindi film industry of today.With no direct reference to any particular person, Mahi is an amalgamated observation of Madhur.

Madhur Bhandarkar speaking about his creation says, "Mahi is not any one particular actress from the industry; she is an observation and combination of many people and situations. Like all my other films, Heroine is very close to my heart, as it is a film on my own industry," About Kareena's performance in the film he says, "Kareena is a wonderful actress, but her potential was not utilized completely so far. I have tried to bring out the 100% of her acting ability in this film and she definitely has given a powerhouse performance in this one."

Speaking about her role in the film Kareena says, "Heroine has given me a platform to perform all shades of acting. I am very spontaneous when it comes to acting and Madhur is the same when it comes to filmmaking." She further elaborated, "When you will get to see the film, you will feel that it must have been a taxing journey for both Madhur and me to make this film. But, I had a lot of fun."
