Goa, Jul 7: Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is busy with making of the upcoming film under their banner titled "Student of the year". And the wonderful team has got an amazing addition. Kajol is the newest member of the casting. But Kajol will only be doing a cameo in the movie. Kajol last appeared in "My Name Is Khan" opposite Shahrukh Khan, The film was under Dharma Production banner only. And she has also done a lot of Karan's films in the past.

The association of Karan Johar and Kajol is years old, and yet the bonding is wonderful! Karan considers Kajol to be his lucky mascot and thus have approached the actress plenty of times, and the actress everytime has readily agreed. This particular movie is all about campus life and revolves around 3 young guys in their college days. The movie features several new faces like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra.

After MNIK this is KJo's latest directorial venture. And all the three young heros are all set to make a mark in the industry with their onscreen performances in the film. "Student of the year" will release this year on October 19th. As Karan believes Kajol to be his lucky mascot, so even if she is not in the lead role, he makes sure the actress at least does a cameo in the film.ong with her continuous improvement.
