Mumbai, Jul 11: After his back to back hits in Bollywood, Emraan Hashmi is determined to choose only right films which will help in building up his career to a greater height. And that is the main reason why he is straight away rejecting ensemble films which have more than two male leads. So Emraan has recently turned down film offers from Sajid and Firoz (the Nadiawala brothers). He was offered by Firoz a role similar to that of Akshay Kumar from the original movie, which will be directed by Anees Bazmee.
It was Anees who met Emraan on the producer's behalf to convince the actor. Akki has stepped out of the flick due to financial issues, and so the filmmakers are looking for a hero who can fill up Akki's space. Emraan was offered the lead role in sequel of "Welcome." The Nadiawalas wanted to take the franchise ahead with the sequel, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar would be a part of this film too. Sajid offered Emraan "Kambakkt Ishq" directed by Sabir Khan, which has now got Tiger Shroff as hero, but Emraan rejected the offer citing date issues.
Neither the two producers nor the actor was present to comment, but Anees clarified it saying this has been doing rounds ever since the crew is looking for a second actor for "Hera Pheri 4", Abhishek Bachchan being the other actor.
