London, May 27: Beyonce Knowles showed that she is back on top form, as she dazzled in a skin-tight, red costume with cut out panels for her first gig since giving birth to baby Blue Ivy just five months ago.
There wasn't an ounce of baby fat to be seen on the curvaceous diva, who became a mum in January.
Her trademark tumbling locks flew into the air as she belted out smash hit 'Single Ladies' on the first of her four night stint at the Revel Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, the Sun reported.
She rocked the showgirl look in a silver fringed bra and hotpants, with shocking pink stilettoes and fishnet tights.
The costumes, which also included a sheer black bodysuit with a fringed tail, were designed by London-based Ralph and Russo and, together with the dancers' outfits, boasted 500,000 Swarovski Crystals.
The R and B singer's last performance was at the MTV video awards last August.
"I gotta say, it feels so good to be back home on stage," she told the audience.
She also showed a brief clip of herself cuddling her baby daughter on the video screen behind her during one song.
The 30-year-old star rattled through her hits, including 'Crazy In Love', 'If I Were A Boy' and 'Halo', to the delight of the 5,000 strong crowd - which included best pal and Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland.
She paid tribute to disco queen Donna Summer with her own song, 'Naughty Girl', which features a rift from 'Love To Love You Baby'.
She remembered soul diva Whitney Houston with a cover of 'I Will Always Love You'.
Cheering from the wings was her hubby Jay Z, who took to Twitter to show his approval.
"I'm gonna say this and then I'm gonna end mine. Beyonce is the best performer in the world. Period," he tweeted. (ANI)
