Washington, Jan 9: Nicole Richie has admitted that she doesn't know how to put on her own make-up.

The reality TV star-turned-fashion designer star admits she is hopeless when it comes to styling herself and has to go to a salon every time she wants a red carpet look.

"I actually don't know how to put on makeup - at all. I have to get it done every time I want to wear makeup. I do not know how to wear it at all. It's so bad," Contactmusic quoted her as telling InStyle.com.

As she can't apply it properly, Nicole, 30, doesn't even own basic make-up items such as lipstick and eyeliner.

"I don't even own it. I only own under-eye concealer, Maybelline mascara, and an eyelash curler," she added. (ANI)
