London, Jan 12: Lindsay Lohan's representative has claimed that the actress was not unaware of her unpaid tax dues.

The Mean Girls actress, who had recently earned 1.5 million pounds to strip for Playboy magazine, owes the U.S. Internal Revenue Service 58,000 pounds from 2009.

According to TMZ.com the star's spokesperson said that the actress was not aware of the amount she owes as she recently changed her business team, who kept her affairs in check, the Daily Express reported.

"Lindsay was completely unaware of the problem... the issue will be handled immediately," the rep said. (ANI)
