London, Dec 30: Actress Jessica Chastain will receive the Spotlight Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival next month.

The 30-year-old will receive the award for her roles in films including 'The Help', 'The Tree of Life', 'The Debt' and 'Coriolanus'.

'Through a series of virtuoso performances, Jessica Chastain has established herself as one of the cinema's most versatile and most sought after young actresses,' contactmusic.com quoted Harold Matzner , chairman of the festival, as saying.

The gala awards will take place Jan 7 at Palm Springs Convention Center, here.
