London, Aug 15 - Reese Witherspoon has apparently signed on to star in a biopic of jazz legend Peggy Lee.

The 34-year-old will also produce the film about the singer who died in 2002.

"It's a passion for Reese, who has long admired Lee," the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

Meanwhile, a representative for Witherspoon has dismissed rumours that the actress is ready to marry her agent boyfriend Jim Toth.

The 'Legally Blonde' star has been dating Toth for seven months. (ANI)
