New Delhi, July 2 - Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has wrapped up shooting for the Malayalam film 'Kandahar' that features southern superstar Mohanlal in the lead role.

The actor stayed in Ooty for the three-day shooting.

'An overexcited crew on set has been exemplary in attitude and work ethic - there is this culture among the film fraternity in the south. There are smiling faces, group keepsake photographs, bonhomie and respect and the desire to serve; wonderful and admirable qualities that I shall carry back with me,' Amitabh posted on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com.

'Thank you 'Kandahar', Mohanlal, Major Ravi (director) and the entire unit. I have enjoyed working with you,' he added.

Amitabh gave his nod to the film only because of his admiration for Mohanlal. He plays a north Indian character in the film.
