London, June 6 - Pop singer Britney Spears caused quite a flutter with her shaved head a few years ago, but now she is back with a hair faux pas with visible hair extensions on her blonde locks.

The singer stepped out with her sons - Jayden James and Sean Preston - in Santa Monica and her hair extensions could be seen clearly, adding no spunk to her look, reports dailymail.co.uk.

The only silver lining was her casual outfit - a striped cardigan and brown hot pants - which took the attention slightly away from hair disaster.

The 'Oops, I did it Again' and 'Toxic' star is currently working on her new album and has been buoyed by improved stability in her private life.
