London, May 12 - British actress Carey Mulligan has fallen for Manhattan.

Mulligan, who is about to appear in the sequel to Wall Street, says she is 'happiest there', reports the Telegraph.

"I love New York - maybe more than Los Angeles or London, I could live in New York. I think I'm happiest [there].

"In London, people can be so ... well, it's not even a case of people being unkind or unfriendly. You just don't make any contact. You go from A to B with your eyes on the pavement," she said.

She added: "New York is more social, and I didn't expect that. If you're walking down the street in LA, people do sort of look at you like you're a hooker because it's so rare to see someone just walking." (ANI)
