New York, March 22 - Star Jones is currently recuperating after undergoing a heart surgery last week.

According to People.com, the 47-year-old TV personality's operation was associated with a surgery she had 30 years ago.

"This recent surgery is a follow-up to the thoracic surgery she had 30 years ago," the New York Daily News quoted Jones' rep as saying, in a statement.

The publicist added: "The procedure was successful and she is recovering well with her family. Star is grateful for everyone's thoughts and prayers." (ANI)
