London, March 18 - Wacky singer Lady Gaga has reportedly been approached to play an assassin in director Quentin Tarantino's forthcoming movie.

'He has already sounded her out on a couple of projects, one of which would see her playing an assassin. Movies would be a huge new venture for Gaga... she's excited about the prospect,' hellomagazine.com quoted a source as saying.

This follows the release of the singer's latest video for her track 'Telephone'.

The source said that Tarantino was a huge fan of the singer and offered her to use his car, a Chevrolet Silverado, for the video that also stars pop sensation Beyonce Knowles.
