London, Mar 5 - A survey has found that most British people are hoping that 3D adventure 'Avatar' will get the top award at the Oscars.

The poll of 5,000 cinemagoers by Odeon also found that they are backing Bridget Jones star Colin Firth, 49, for Best Actor for his role in 'A Single Man'.

Sandra Bullock, 45, is also a favourite of theirs and they would like her to receive an award for 'The Blind Side', even though it has not been released yet.

"I am sure all eyes will be watching excitedly on Sunday night to see which films will garner the ultimate Hollywood seal of approval," the Daily Star quoted Odeon spokeswoman Rebecca Taylor as saying. (ANI)
