Feb 4, 2010: M V Krishnaswamy, the veteran Kannada director and administrator, has been chosen for the V Shantaram award by the Mumbai awards committee.

M V Krishnaswamy is an expert at cinema and has studied film media abroad. MVK was congratulated and praised by the Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Chairman T S Nagabharana.
