February 11, 2010: ‘Yugapurushan’, a biopic on Narayanguru, has one of Tamil artiste Vijay’s best performances. Narayanguru is a social reformer who lived in Kerala.

Vijay’s performance is being appreciated and audiences are impressed by Vijay’s act as the guru. He has been liked so much that he may now be called ‘Yugapurushan’ Vijay in Kerala.

The film was earlier supposed to be done by Mammootty who backed out as he felt his performance in the movie would be overshadowed by his superstar status.
