Kannada actor Sudeep has picked up another Ravi Teja film. The actor directed and acted in Ravi Teja’s Telugu film Vikramarkudu’s Kannada remake, Yee Shathamanadha Veera Madhakari. The film was a super hit. He is now set to do another Ravi Teja film, Kick.

The female lead in Kick’s remake will be played by Porkhi actress, Pranitha. The film is being produced by KCN Kumar who suffered heavy losses with last year’s film, Aishwarya. Directed by PN Sathyaa (of Ghooli fame), it will have Shaam (who debuted with Thananam Thananam) redoing the role he played in both the Tamil and Telugu version of Kick.

Before Sudeep, Darshan did Gaja, which was the remake of Ravi Teja’s film, Bhadra. Actor Upendra also did Ravi Teja’s film Krishna as Rajani in Kannada. However, the film failed to strike a chord with audiences.
