Actor Jayaram, who is mostly known for his hilarious family entertainers, has signed up to do an art film. He will be seen in director T V Chandran’s Purathekkulla Vazhi. The parts featuring Jayaram will be shot in June and the remaining portions of the film have already commenced shooting.

The film is based on writer Kakkanadan’s stories and also features the writer himself. Purathekkulla Vazhi is a tribute to the writer, will have its portions shot at Delhi and Kuttanad by Madhu Ambat.
