Paa brought Big B loads of laurels both as an actor and producer. The film highlighting a rare father-son relationship has a backdrop of disease called progeria won millions of hearts. Amitabh recently bagged screen awards in the category of best actor. However, more than that Big B is thrilled about the box-office collections and its stability in the theatres.

Mr. Bachchan on his blog has mentioned, “Those olden days, a jubilee was the ultimate yardstick for success. Deewar went on to 75 weeks and more if I am not mistaken. Today the life of a film is decided on the first week and at the most by the second week the film’s glory has passed away. “

“It is also creditable that within two weeks period the entire business of a film is assessed and concluded. I am happy that Paa is in its seventh week,” concludes the actor.
