Prithviraj starrer Anwar was launched at Ernakulam on January 5. Present Present at the launch were Prithviraj and Mamta Mohandas, the lead pair of the film, as well as actor Prakash Raj and director-actor Lal, present.

According to the director of the film, Amal Neerad, the film focuses on terrorism. The film will go on floors in February, if sources are to be believed.
