London, Dec 11 - Madonna has been replaced as the face of fashion giants Louis Vuitton by David Wallima's new flame, supermodel Lara Stone.

While the pop diva celebrated her half-century last year, Dutch beauty Lara is just 25. And to make matters worse, Lara was handpicked for the spring-summer 2010 campaign by Madonna's good friend, designer Marc Jacobs, reports thesun.co.uk.

"After two seasons with such a huge star, Marc decided to take a breather and work with a model - and not just any model. It's the choice of a new supermodel," said a Louis Vuitton spokesman.

It's every ageing celebrity's biggest nightmare to lose out to a younger rival, especially when that celeb clings to her youth as Madonna does.
