London, Dec 28 - Hollywood actress Kate Hudson has been shopping with Australian model Elle Macpherson to help herself get over her split from Alex Rodriguez.

The duo ended their seven-month relationship earlier this month and she has been surrounding herself with her female friends during her festive break in Aspen, Colorado, reports contactmusic.com.

"Kate is a serial dater, but it seems like she wants to take some time off and just be with her girlfriends," said a source.

Over the weekend, Hudson and Macpherson were spotted shopping at Ralph Lauren before grabbing ice cream cones.
