Just days back we had claimed that Jimmy Shergill is all set to deliver his second back to back blockbuster in Punjabi cinema with the release of his film Munde U.K. De. Our prediction has come true and the film has taken and an outstanding opening not just in Punjab but in the overseas centers as well. Munde U.K. De is directed by Manmohan Singh and along side Jimmy Shergill stars Neeru Bajwa, Amrinder Gill, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Rana Ranbir, Deep Dhillon and Arun Bali. The film is a joint production between Kamal Mukut and Manmohan Singh.

The film is the most preferred choice for audiences all over Punjab as almost all its shows are running houseful there. Jimmy now seems all set to be declared the superstar of Punjabi cinema.

The film was also released in Australia with six prints. Australia is a non-traditional center for Punjabi films but even then it went on to take a bumper opening there. In U.K. the film was released in seven cinemas with 10 prints and unbelievably registered full houses. In Canada Munde U.K. De was released with 12 prints in 11 cinemas and seeing great crowd turnout. There is growing demand for more prints for the film in the USA as well and a bigger release is planned there on May 22nd. -Sampurn Media
