Uday Benegal, the man behind the rock band, Indus Creed, is in plans to make a movie on music. He feels that the best movies in the world are non-English. Staying in New York exposed him to a lot of world cinema and has watched films from directors like Almodovar, Wong Kar Wai and many others. And while he thinks that Bollywood is churning out the most number of flicks every year, most of them are bad. But times are changing and that’s why Uday is here with his script. He is now looking for a producer so he isn’t ready to divulge details of his script yet. However, he does admit that it will be an indie film on music in Hindi and he would like it if he could get one known face to join the cast. So, let’s see how well Uday’s film takes shape.
