Asit Modi’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is known for walking hand-in-hand with the current themes, festivals, etc. Keeping this is mind the show will be seen celebrating forthcoming festivals, like always, in a grandiose manner.

We recently saw members of Gokuldham society celebrating Rakshabandhan. Now, we will be getting to see a festive week, wherein the star cast would be celebrating Janmashtami, Independence Day, Paryushan, Pateti and Ganesh Chaturthi.

It is for the first time that a Parsi festival is celebrated on Indian Television. Also it is very rare that Jain festivities are celebrated with such authenticity on Television. Earlier, the light-hearted show made an exception by celebrating Mahavir Jayanti. And this time round, we would be getting to see Paryushan Parva on the show.

Rumors hint that Producer has roped in some known Parsi faces for the Pateti celebration. When questioned about it, Producer Asitkumarr Modi says, “I cannot tell you anything, as it would spoil the fun. But I can assure you that the festive week will bring in lot of excitement, fun and exclusive content. We hope to spread more ‘n’ more smiles.”

The show certainly believes in spreading cheer all around!
