A damsel-in-distress in the promo of ‘Sajan Ghar Jana Hai’, Neha Saxena is another crybaby in the making on television, of course!

This newly discovered birdie has no formal training in acting but has to carry off an intense role in the serial. “My character’s name is Dhani. She is very simple but courageous,” she briefs. All the other actors in the serial don the flashy attire, but she is simple to a monotone. “This is what, Dhani’s simplicity is all about. Other actors are uncomfortable wearing them, but it doesn’t bother me. Honestly though, I haven’t seen these clothes worn by anyone in Agra, but I am sure people in hamlets must be wearing such clothes,” she promptly replies.

She has the never-heard-before story to tell about her entry in the make believe world of television. “I am a destiny’s child, as acting happened to me accidentally and at the right time. As I am from Agra and after my schooling I did diploma in aviation and I was flying. I would have never thought of it, unless I was offered a role,” she narrates. She recounts further, “One fine day I was flying as usual and my director had got on the same flight. He saw me and asked me to audition for the role.” This godsend offer came to her just when the aviation industry is in slowdown. She gave her nod, auditioned and bagged the role. She has been flying everyday, meeting different people and visited different places every time, but now life has changed to 360 degree. “Changes should happen and I am enjoying this kind of change,” she quips.

When there are so many talented people struggling to make it in the industry and opportunity fell on her lap so easily, did she never beg a question to her director about why did he choose her? “I did ask him, but I never got the answer,” she asserts.

Flying beauty has safely landed in the serial world. Sweetheart bear in your mind, god promises a safe landing but not a calm passage.
