Television actors crave to get that one big break in films and dream of a cross-over to Bollywood, though not all are granted their wish. But, Ujjwal Chopra of ‘ Aek Chabi Hai Padoss Mein’ fame; is blessed to get an offer for a film not once; but twice. Unfortunately though, his films could not see the screening of a Friday matinee.

He got to work with a London based director in the film ‘Meridian’ but after the completion, director was back to his country without discussing the fate of the film. Then his second unreleased film Love Khichdi’s producer closed shop and shut down the production house.

“I have no idea what has happened to those films,” Ujjwal said with an obvious disinterested tone.

Ujjwal Chopra started off with a small role in the film Hijack and then switched to television. As of now, he is doing a television serial ‘Shree’ and alongside dabbles in commercials. “I will be doing three more commercials for SBI, Benedryl and Sleepwell mattress.” He informs.

Ujjwal Chopra’s claim to fame is his character in  Aek Chabi Hai Padoss Mein as Mushtaq.
