After a long gap from television the talented producer - director Ravi Rai is re-entering the television world and this time it is for the realistic filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. He will be directing one of the twelve tele films made under the banner of Madhur and this will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The story revolves around the sweet relationship shared between husband and wife. Sumit Raghvan would be seen playing the role of husband whereas the wife’s role would be played by Purvi Joshi.

"Both of them are really excited but trust me I am much more excited to work with both of them as it was my wish since a long time," says Ravi Rai.

His marathi film Tingya won quite critical acclaim and  won around 53 national and international awards. Ravi is aiming to take a shot at Bollywood. His first Hindi venture Chanda will soon compete in the international  film festival to be held in  Los Angeles. The story of the movie revolves around a 9 year old street girl and the difficulties she goes through life. Ravi informs that, "five more Hindi films would be featured under my banner till the end of this year."

Looks like Ravi Rai is all set to enter Bollywood with a bang.   – Sampurn Media
