Music Maestro A R Rahman has become the first Indian to bag the Golden Globe award in the category of Original Score for his brilliant composition in Slumdog Millionaire. His song, "Jai Ho" won the Best Original Music Score at Golden Globes.

The movie Slumdog Millionaire won under four categories, Best Screenplay, Best drama, director for Banny Boyle, and Best original Score. The maestro has proved once again, that he is truly one of the best music composers in the world. In his speech after winning the award, A R Rahman dedicated this award to billions of Indians. Anil Kapoor was also a Nominee for Slumdog Millionaire.

Besides Anil Kapoor, actor Irfan Khan also played a brilliant role in Slumdog Millionaire movie. The talented music composer has surely given us Indians a reason to be proud of.
