Suresh Oberoi, whose daughter got married last month, made it a point to personally hand over sweets to his friends. It is learnt that the veteran actor himself visited the people he wanted to share his joy with, when he could have easily had the boxes of sweets sent with his staff. His actor son, Vivek Oberoi too was very actively involved in the marriage preparations. He had taken almost a month off for his sister's wedding related activities.

But since the marriage was solemnized far away in Rishikesh, many people from the film industry Mumbai couldn't attend the same. The joyous papa of the bride made it a point to bring rudraksh malas and Gangajal which he gifted along with the dry fruit-studded sweets.

Reportedly, Vivek had visited the Salman Khan household with the marriage invitations. It is not known whether any member of the Khan family was present at the wedding. -Sampurn Media
