On the sets of Zee TV’s reality show with kids, Tata Indicom Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka, little Dhairya broke down after the jury announced their comments. All of 7 years, this adorable child, who melted hearts with his endearing portrayal in Panchvi Paas and as a child artist in a lo many ads, could not hold back his tears when the jury gave him negative comments for his performance. This leads us to wonder whether children this young should be subjected to such cut throat competition. Dhairya’s own mother made a comment saying “mere bachcha ki umeed toot gayi hai” If at such a tender age, this child is made to feel hopeless and small, then such comments or then the format of the shows, needs to be re-looked upon. What also led to a lot of bad blood was Dhairya’s partner Smita Nandi’s mother, calling him a ‘poor performer’ who also was ruining her daughters chances of winning the competition. Speaking on the incident, Rakhi Sawant, one of the judges, said, “I am very upset with Smita’s mother. She should not have commented on someone else’s performance. There is an age difference between the two one needs to keep a cognizance of.” Kunal Kolhi also tried to pacify Dhairya and his mother who were visibly upset, by soothing words and hugs. But to no avail. It was only after about 5 minutes of crying that the poor little boy was able to regain his composure. Which leads one to think whether the effort is worth the heart ache and pains that these kids have to go through?

Call it a status issue or a result of the dubious Bollywood standards…, the fact remains that no one here is a friend even if they appear to be one on your face. Diplomacy is the way to go…! We are talking about the eminent judges of Zee TV’s Tata Indicom Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka - Rakhi Di, Kunal Kohli and Annu Kapoor. Though on camera they appear to be more than happy sitting on the same panel but the truth is completely different. During the shoot of this week’s episode the reticent Kunal Kolhi was seen bending towards and constantly whispering to Annu Kapoor on the smallest remark that Rakhi Sawant made. It seemed as if both the male judges were obviously side-lining Rakhi didi. Our source reported that though Rakhi was very hurt with the entire episode, she was not showing it. Here’s kudos to the gutsy lady with the never say die attitude and always the same song on her lips, “Jalti hai duniya toh goli maro…”

Tata Indicom Chhota Packet, Bada Dhamaka starts on 20th September,

at 8pm and runs on Saturday and Sunday of every week.
