Doing concerts for fame and money is one thing but doing concerts out of love and appreciation is another. The singing sensation of India, Sonu Niigaam was recently in the UK, doing concerts as a tribute to his mentor Rafi sahab, as he is fondly known. Sonu Niigaam, while speaking to us from UK, shared some experiences, where he said, "The concerts — Rafi Resurrected, are going really well and it is amazing to see how many youngsters and even foreigners have attended the same. I have been singing to packed audiences in all the cities and knowing that even today there are people, who are interested in his music, gives me immense pleasure. The concerts were arranged as a mark of respect, for the man who I have considered as my guru. I hope to do the same concerts in other countries as well and pray that Rafi sahab showers in his blessings on me from heaven above, in all my ventures." We also salute the love of Sonu for Rafi sahab and wish him luck in all his ventures. -(SAMPURN)
