SAB, a Hindi general entertainment channel, today announced the launch of two new shows that targetting the 'young set minds'.
The shows -- '4' and 'Love Story' will be aired from April 30 during the prime time, five days a week from Monday to Friday.
'These shows cater to the needs of 400 million people below the 25 years and 535 million people below the 35 years,' Sony Entertainment Channel Chief Operating Office N P Singh told UNI.
He added 'these show are dedicated to the people having young set minds who are optimistic, aggressive, believe in themselves and wanted to capitalise the opportunities available to them.' '4' is a story of four friends who have to face the toughest phase of their lives after their graduation and gradually their friendship endures through turmoil.
The four friends in the show are Mansi Parekh, Vipul Gupta, Raj Singh Arora and Samir Sharma.
'Love Story'is directed by Anurag Basu who has earlier directed films like 'Murder' and 'Gangster'.
The show stars Rupa Ganguly, Harsh Chaya and Mishal Raheja and Payal Sarkar in the lead.
SAB Senior Vice President and Business Head Vikas Bahl said, ' About 60 per cent of people in India are young and the remaining 40 per cent even are younger in thier feeling'.
He added "SAB provides the new TV entertainment to the this new generation who is younger in age and attitude."
