Twentieth Century Fox has joined hands with India's UTV Motion Pictures to co-produce Hollywood-based filmmaker Manoj Night Shyamalan's next film.

The two production houses announced here Wednesday their 50:50 strategic tie-up for the Indian-born filmmaker's new venture, "The Happening".

The shooting for the science-fiction film, with a budget of $57 million, is on in near Philadelphia, where Shyamalan lives, and it is slated for a worldwide release in June-July 2008.

The two producers said that they would enjoy global revenues from the film in all formats including DVD and house video releases.
