British reality TV star Jade Goody, who kicked off an international race row over her treatment of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty in Celebrity Big Brother is on a visit to India.

Goody, who arrived today, is staying in a five star hotel here.

"She has instructed us not to divulge her travel plans to the media," a spokesperson of the hotel told PTI.

Goody, whose face was splattered across the national media for two weeks following the racism row, went out for a stroll in the national capital, sat for some time in the hotel lobby, without anyone recognising her.

Three companions are accompanying Goody who is on a four-day visit, the spokesman said. She has had no visitors so far.

She "angrily" refused to take calls from the media when contacted at her room.
