Actor Saif Ali Khan will not be attending the premier of his latest film 'Omkara' at Pakistan's prestigious Kara Film Festival.
Khan, who was expected to arrive here, will be unable to pay a visit to the city due to "his visit dates clashing with his shooting schedules", the Daily Times reported.
Ajay Devgan, who also stars in the film, is yet to confirm his presence at the premier. According to the spokesman of the film festival, Devgan will confirm his participation 48 hours before the movie's premier.
The spokesman also rejected the notion that there was some problem in issuing visas to the actors, that was the cause behind the actors being unable to attend the show.
The premier of the movie has been scheduled to take place on the evening of December 16 at the Arts Council, located in the city.
However, the director of the film Vishal Bhardwaj will be present during the premier of his film, that has been based on Shakespeare's tragedy-Othello.
The film, which won accolades from film critics and public alike in India, also stars Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Naseeruddin Shah.
