Bollywood actor Salman Khan will be the star attraction tomorrow at an exhibition-cum-auction of photographs featuring 500 children facing AIDS risk.

Organised by the NGO Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT), the exhibition, to be held at the Hyatt Rgency and co-sponsored by J P Morgan, will feature 40 frames of the children in different moods captured by Pradeep Chandra.

Around eight of these photographs will be auctioned during the event, being held on the World AIDS Day.

"Funds raised in the event will be used to support CCDT projects that work with childeren who live in disadvantaged situations that may put them at risk to HIV," CCDT programme manager Tannaz Daver told PTI.

Chandra, who is known for his glamorous Bollywood frames, said, "Last couple of years, I have been associated with more glamour and wanted to break this jinx. Photographing children is a challenge and this project has been fulfilling." To make them a collector's item, the photos to be auctioned have been autographed by celebrities like Pritish Nandy, poet Shom Shukla, actors Suniel Shetty and Jackie Shroff and painter Safdar Shamee and also carry small notes by them.
